Animals can do amazing things!
Here are the 7 animals i had chosen to share what i know to you all: Eagles, lions, polar bear, parrot, cockroach and spider.
Eagles:
Human's NORMAL eyeball length is 24 mm, right? But you don't know that a eagle has eyeballs with the length of 35 mm (try measuring with your ruler. It has a lot of difference!). No wonder thay can see their prey far far away! Their visual acuity is 2.0 to 3.6 times better (depending on the type of eagle) than that of humans. However the visual acuity depends on the type of the eagle! Poor small-size eagles!! haha)
Lions:
Lions are very loud. You can hear a lion's roar 8 kilometres away! Imagine standing right beside him and him roaring into your ear!
Polar Bears:
A polar bear can swim up to 160 kilometres at one time. Wonder how they did that!!!
Parrots:
Parrots can say up to 500 words. The best talker is the African Grey parrot. One of these parrots could say 1,000 words! Cool! Imagine them in 6J... i wonder what the teachers will do to them .....
Cockroach:
Cockroaches are digusting things that I hate! At first, I thought they are just ugly. But after going to the sites, i hate them even more. One freaky thing is that they can live a week without its head. Sick right! I mean it is like totally disgusting! Maybe I am going to try to take/chop the head off! (just kidding!) And i know another way of killing it is to chop off the mouth as without them, it can't drink water and dies of thirst.( EVIL!) Another thing I will always remind myself of is to look at the wall for cockroaches as they can climb really well because of their set of little claws on their feet designed for that very purpose. But do you know that cockroaches' heart can stop moving without even harming them! One really REALLY bad news is that some female cockroaches mate once and be pregnant for the rest of their life. Wonder how they did it! must try on humans...( just kiddin) Last didgustingly disgusting information is that you can put a CRUSHED cockroach on a stinging wound and it wll relieve the pain. Cockroach bandage! Hmmm.......
Mimic Octopus:
A mimic octopus did not get its name for nothing! They can appear to be venomous sole, sea snakes, lion fish, jellyfish, and sea anemones. Like most octopus, they are really flexible!This allows it to perform its amazing contortion acts. ( Maybe they can change to human and join the gymnastic competition!) They measure about two feet in length and has brown and white stripes cover its body. In my second life, I want to be a octopus! A mimic octopus! It will be really fun!
